ANN MYERS is an accomplished triple threat performer with an infinite amount of comedic timing and has been noted as following in such respected footsteps as Carol Burnett, Vicki Lawrence and Dorothy Loudon.
Her performance debut was at the age of five in the role of "Assistant" in her brother's living room magic shows. Her parents recognized her cheeseball talent (aka, need of a creative outlet), enrolled her in dance class and the performing bug gave her a nice, good bite. Ouch.
Miss Myers has performed on stages from sea to shining sea... and even ON the sea. Favorite venues include Holland America Cruise Lines, The Barter Theatre in Virginia, Artpark & Co. in New York, the late American Musical Theater of San Jose and many others in the San Francisco Bay Area and across the country. She has performed with numerous Los Angeles companies such as Musical Theatre West, Cabrillo Music Theatre, The Norris Theatre, Candlelight Pavilion, and the treasured Musical Theatre Guild.
Favorite roles include Lina Lamont in "Singin' in the Rain", Audrey in “Little Shop of Horrors”, Ado Annie in "Oklahoma" and Bonnie in “Anything Goes”, for which she received the prestigious San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critic's Circle Award.
She holds a BFA degree in Musical Theatre and a Dance Minor from Millikin University and is a graduate of the Theatre Artist's Institute with American Musical Theater of San Jose.
She is looking brightly into her future and is so grateful for every moment that has led her to this point of life. All thanks to her relentlessly supportive and inspiring family and friends. Mom and Dad, thanks for your love. And the lessons!
